Tragedy Ann

US$0.00

Tragedy Ann is a forward-looking folk band. Braiding organic vocal harmonies with organ, accordion, singing saw, upright bass and guitars, Tragedy Ann’s arrangements are as delicate as they are driving. Their concerts emanate “...the honesty and enthusiasm of people who can’t help but create and perform.”

Tragedy Ann have performed in Europe and across Canada as a duo, trio, and quintet - in spaces big and small - from the National Arts Centre, to the community pavilion in Hornepayne; from Scotland’s Celtic Connections, to a house concert in Sioux Lookout; from Norway’s Egersund Visefestival, to the cafeteria of a Belgian equestrian centre.

Cazzola & Phelan are deeply passionate about touring all over Ontario, particularly in ways that build reciprocal and long-lasting relationships with the communities they visit. They love facilitating workshops for various ages, focusing on songwriting, harmony singing, and integrating climate advocacy and community-building into artmaking.
